Drip Café Coffee and Brunch:
Made from Scratch!

If you haven’t been to Drip Café for any of their awesome breakfast items, you are
missing out! Nothing compares to sitting at the counter top, reading the paper,
and having one of the best cups of coffee in town. But, big changes are taking
place. The Hockessin community has spoken and they want more.
In 3 ½ years, Drip has grown. As owner and operator, Greg Vogeley
puts it, Drip is “an old shoe that is two sizes too small…so we’re resoling it!” So, he is adding roughly 1200 square feet! This will include additional kitchen space, an office, and an additional dining area; almost
doubling his current dining space. Greg wants to focus more
on bigger tables for families and a space for private
events. All of this is community driven – Hockessin
spoke and Greg answered!
In addition to providing good eats,
Drip Café has become an unofficial gallery
or community center for art. The art is
rotated every 2-3 months. It is all local and
all for sale. When you visit Drip, the tables
you are sitting at for breakfast or brunch
were all handcrafted by a local artist.
Without even trying, Greg has brought
the community together through art. The
feeling or the vibe you get when you
walk in and sit down is amazing.
It doesn’t matter if you are dressed in
your suit and tie, or running errands in
workout gear, Drip Café and the patrons
have no judgment.
Drip Café’s coffee is all single origin, small lot
coffee. Drip features local roasters like Ceremony
Coffee. Your coffee is made to order by either pour over
or French press. (My preference is definitely French Press!)
Drip offers a traditional espresso program and they even
make all of their own syrups and mochas. Drip is putting their
mark on the craft coffee restaurant industry.
The coffee is just one beautiful part of the whole menu experience.
