Creative & Cultural Skills is an industry-led organisation promising to have real influence over the supply of education and skills across the UK. Sector: IT & TELECOMS SECTOR & CONTACT CENTRES Website: www.e-skills.com Government Skills is the Sector Skills Council for central government. Their overall purpose is to improve the delivery of public services by working with employers to reduce skills gaps. They cover all civil servants in departments and agencies (including those in the devolved administrations and the Northern Ireland Civil Service); staff in nondepartmental government bodies not already affiliated to another SSC (around 60,000 staff); and the Armed Forces.
