Mrs. Merritt held English Tea once again this year with her AP/UCONN Literature & Composition students on the
morning of May 25 th . In traditional formal style, students enjoyed hot tea with lemon, quiche, and scones with jam
and clotted cream. For a couple of hours, desks and pencils transformed into linen covered tables adorned with
flowers, china, and silver to provide this memorable cultural experience.

STOCK MARKET WINNERS
Congratulations to Mr. John Paul Gill and his Business Education students for completing a very successful
statewide Stock Market Competition sponsored by the Hartford Courant. Out of 1,175 student
competitors, four EHS students finished in the Top 10! Our future Wall Street Traders are:
