non-compliance breaches

Listed below are the most frequently identified non-compliance
items as a result of recent Energy Safe Victoria inspections
on gas installations (Oct to Dec 2018).
When inspecting, ESV assesses the
installation for compliance against the
prescribed Australian Standards. It is
imperative that gasfitting professionals
have the right tools for their job.

Breaches Hose assemblies have been installed where they are exposed to a temperature exceeding the maximum temperature
specified for the hose, do not comply with the manufacturer’s instructions or are subject to strain, abrasion, kinking
or permanent deformation.
