Treating each piece as a tiny specimen, it seemed appropriate to spear them with pins, in
the style of an insect collection. I began to pin them to the wall in groupings and it
became clear that each piece was enhanced by being a part of a collection. The idea of a
different kind of book collection spurred me on to try many different arrangements of my
little pieces, but after a few years nothing felt right, so I put the pieces away in storage.
