TRIAD One day as I hung one of my prints on one of my studio windows I noticed the transformation of medium and paper as the sun shone through. No longer was the paper translucent, in some areas it became transparent because of the application of clear medium, Te x t u r e s i n t h e p a p e r w e r e highlighted. Colors vibrated with the addition of sunlight. I framed groups of three small prints and decided to enter them in an exhibit. The result was lots of positive feedback. I knew I had hit on an exciting idea. Taking this discovery one step further, I decided to backlight my prints so they could hang on the wall and appear just as I had seen them with the sun shining through.
