mbody Wear Fashions is a clothing line created by Kathy Beal where women embody the es-
sence of the Goddess within themselves. When I met Kathy Beal in 2016 I was new to the industry
of modeling and have never been on a runway before. But Kathy saw something in me that I did
not yet see in myself, and that is the beauty of Kathy’s line!
Kathy Beal was in corporate America for many years, until one day she decided that her health
was more important and she wanted a healthier lifestyle for herself. As many of us know, we some-
times get caught up with work and life that we forget to take care of ourselves. So, she began her
journey and she has since lost about 70 pounds in the last 18 months! During this amazing and
empowering journey, she let go of so much she didn’t even realize she was carrying. I think at one
point in our lives, as women we can all resonate with this. We may have once felt that we have
somewhat lost ourselves in our daily routines that we don’t even realize things we carry within
ourselves. We forget somewhat to listen to ourselves and don’t realize we are holding on to things
that no longer serve us.
25 years ago, Kathy was not yet in tune with her feminism until she took a trip to Hawaii. This
is where everything completely changed
for her and her creativity was awakened.
She began taking art classes where a
Goddess appeared in one of her paint-
ings. That day was significant where
Kathy Beal and her feminism was awak-
ened. She then decided to join a group of
women who traveled the world in their
search of Goddesses and their temples.
She has traveled to China where she was
particularly drawn to a Goddess named
Quan Yin. Quan Yin is the “Lotus Flow-
er” Goddess of which her calmness, gen-
tleness and unending supply of compas-
sion was something that resonated with
Kathy. Compassion is one of Kathy Beal’s
messages that she strongly stands by. If
you get the opportunity to meet Kathy,
you will immediately feel her energy. She
has inspired so many that wear her line
in either a fashion runway, a photo shoot
or simply purchasing a piece of clothing.
