Local Music and he instantly fell in love with the direction of the song. Not long after that, Adam wrote verse one and thus began the development process. We practiced for many days and nights at my house going over ca- dence, flow and the feeling he would need to portray in the song. This was a slow process that took a little time. We eventually got Adam to a point where he was very comfortable with the song. Unfortunately, with Adam still being very new to the songwriting process, he had troubles with the second verse. I was happy to assist and quickly wrote verse 2 so that we could get started on the actual recording stage. We began recording at my home and Adam was a natural with how to deliver the song with very little help from me. I previously recorded my parts of the song to keep the development moving along. We went over how to let your emotions shine through and to just pour your heart into it. Adam had a ball! We had fun molding and shaping the song as we went along, changing certain words and phrases to tell the perfect story. All throughout the songwriting process, we were brimming with excitement about the music video. We had visions of locations and concepts dancing around in our heads. We talked about exotic lo- cations such as Tent Rocks and White Sands New Mexico. We also thought about inviting all the lo- cal models to participate. After sitting down writ- ing a treatment for the video and going over differ- ent concepts it finally hit us! Instead of us making the typical flashy video with extremely glamorous women and fancy cars, why don’t we create some- thing real? Instead of all super models, we could create something that would uplift and celebrate all of our everyday beautiful women. I immediate- ly thought of all the local hard working, beautiful women I knew. I wanted all walks of life from single, married, mothers and businesswomen. I wanted as many different races and sizes that we could get as well. This became a project that would pay homage to ALL women instead of just focusing on all the slim super model types. Adam was just as excited as I was and we were off and running! w. I wanted all walks of life from single, married, mothers and businesswomen.
