From the Editor
As I sit to write, I begin to reflect on 2017 and the messages or guidance I have internally re-
ceived as the year approaches its end. Re-flect, Re-joice, Re-imagine.
It’s all too easy to get swept up in the “work”, drama or other people’s opinions and lose sight
of our gifts. What better time than December to be aware of those gifts! The gift of love from
family and/or friends, the gift of loving ones self, the gift of a smile from a stranger passing by,
the gift of hearing the song of the birds in this cold weather! No matter how big or small the
gift may be, I’ve learned that the attitude of gratitude will enhance any situation. When we’re in
the storm, things may feel chaotic, overwhelming and never ending. It’s so important to speak
aloud to another soul or even to yourself. Sometimes hearing your own voice is where the heal-
ing and creation begins!
As we Re-joice in the final month of the year this issue becomes a CELEBRATION! We cele-
brate the anniversary of our dear friend, Executive Editor and Public Relations Specialist, LaLa
Gonzales! She is a true gift to our community! Featured music artists Tarius and Adam Fierro
celebrate their debut single “Beautiful” and celebrate the beauty in every woman! We celebrate
new contributors who are coming on board the magazine to co-create intriguing content for
2018 as well as existing contributors who take inspired action, sharing useful, empowering and
insightful content each month!
In closing, I want to thank each and every one of our readers and supporters. Without all of you
none of this would be possible. Our vision was to bring the community together while sharing
inspiring and empowering each other and I can say that I have seen nothing less in this past
year. For all of you I am grateful! Love and blessings to you all this holiday season!
