Now I ’ ll be honest donuts have never been my thing , but this place sure did change my mind . Fresh made to order mini donuts turned everything I thought about this treat to a new love for doughnuts . Tosha Page took this experience to a whole new level . Tosha took a certain pride in the creation of these little pillows of heaven . I ordered raspberry shortcake a raspberry drizzle , with little puffed cereal topped with a fresh raspberry . The lemon drop was a vanilla and lemon drizzle tangy and sweet , and the s ’ more was a chocolate drizzle with marshmallow fluff and graham cracker crumbs . This treat was so good I went a second time to bring some home .

Now I love fish and chips and I was one happy women to find a spot that did just fish and chips . These sister are the masters at the art of fish fry . This spot is located in a food truck park that is super retro . They used fresh pacific cod lightly breaded and fried to perfection . Served with fresh cut fries using pearl potatoes crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside . For 10 $ you get two pieces of fish and a side of fries and a homemade tarter sauce for dipping , you can add coleslaw for a dollar . One thing on the menu and it was done perfectly . Amazing food and beautiful people make this a super special place . So if your travels take you to Portland try Arlos Fish and Chips .

Upon my return to the Land of Enchantment i could not help but crave the fish and chips I had in Portland . Well low and behold I found what I was looking for right here in Albuquerque . Two Fools satisfied my craving . They use haddock fish with a light beer batter . The batter is light and crispy what makes this batter unique is they use their very own beer the Two Fools pale ale . The beer is not overpowering but a compliment to the flaky white fish . The fish and chips are accompanied by house made tartar sauce as well as fresh made coleslaw apple is added for a nice sweetness to the slaw . You can get a large or small portion depending on your appetite . Two Fools also offers specialty drinks the bloody Mary ’ s are prepared with a vodka infusion with onions , olives , peppers . They also infuse bourbon with figs for unique cocktails . So if you would like a taste of Portland without the travel Two Fools is a perfect choice .
