Rude Boy Cookies
115 Harvard DR NE #7 Albuquerque,
NM 87106
I can’t lie. I have to have a sweet treat on a daily.
Well my sweet tooth lead me to my favorite cookies.
Rude Boy cookies is not just your average cookie
spot. They warm the cookies to order and have a cold milk bar. My taste buds cried
out for the deconstructed ice cream sandwich which started with coffee ice cream warm
chocolate chip cookies and a Maui mudslide cookie which is a double chocolate chip
cookie with caramel chunks, macadamia nuts and espresso drizzle. Talk about a sug-
ar rush it was rich creamy and super yummy. Rude Boy has their regular menu and
monthly specials to fit each season of the year. This cookie shop has a hip, upbeat at-
mosphere located in the UNM area. If my review hasn’t convinced you maybe knowing
that they are a winner of a cookie challenge competition on the food network w ill. The
winning cookie is a traditional New Mexican cookie the biscochito.
Buckhorn Burger
68 US 380 San Antonio, NM
My travels south lead me to a little burger joint
located in San Antonio, NM. The Buckhorn is
a very New Mexican spot with its southwest de-
cor. The people are welcoming and proud of this
gem. Featured on the Food Network series, Din-
ers, Drive-in and Dives. This burger joint deserves
to be on the map. I had the Buckhorn hamburger special. Its an all beef patty topped
with red or green chile, fresh cut french fries, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a big slice
of texas toast. It was everything you should expect from a burger. This tip lived up to
all the hype. They have a traditional green chili burger as well as local favorites such
as enchiladas, Frito pie and a good old fashion bowl of beans and chile with a tortilla
on the side. So, if you’re traveling south or just wanna take a little trip for an amazing
burger, stop by the Buckhorn.
