Magickal Life: How Far Is To Far?

“My husband left me for another woman, and I want him back,” Jenny from Houston, Texas recently revealed on a service inquiry form, “I need someone to cast a spell on him to bring him home to me and make that bitch go away,” her desperate plea continued. I don’t know that I should have been, but I was surprised to receive not only Jenny’s but over a hundred inquiries like hers for spell casting services to manipulate someone else. And, though I don’t offer these services to my coaching clients, I am listed as a spiritual counselor on a popular business posting site. Evidently, to some scorned women, this title means I practice magically zapping estranged lovers into submission. With my complex desire to empower women to live the lives of their dreams, I amiably offered Jenny life coaching instead…she declined. Naturally, I became concerned that a portion of the female population has somehow missed key information about life-change and creating authentic happiness (and doing so without venturing onto spiritual thin ice).
