? Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) was established in India in 1993 under the name ALIT (Ashok Leyland Information Technology). The company merged with Hinduja Finance Corporation (HFC), part of industrial conglomerate Hinduja Group, to form HGS in 2000. ? Currently the company is a major global player in Business Process Management (BPM), providing outsourcing solutions that include back office processing, contact center services and customized IT solutions to its global clients comprising several Fortune 500 Companies. ? As of March 31, 2013, HGS operated 55 delivery centers in India, the U.S., UK, Canada, Mauritius, France, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, the Netherlands and the Philippines. HGS served more than 530 clients and employed some 23,000 people worldwide.
