A Letter from the EGF Chairman
Dear Members,
The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Board of Directors hope that everyone had a fantastic summer and is ready for an amazing autumn.
September was an exceptional month for United Arab Emirates (UAE) Golf. The UAE National Golf Team competed in the World Amateur Team Championship – Eisenhower Trophy (WATC) in Karuizawa, Japan. Congratulations to Khalid Yousuf, Sohail Almarzoqi, and Rashid Hamood who had the honor to represent the UAE at this prestigious event. With a new direction for the National Golf Teams the future looks very promising.
In October, the UAE National Men’s and Junior Teams will compete in the Pan Arab Golf Championship. On behalf of the EGF and the entire UAE, I would like to wish our teams the best of luck.
Now that fall is upon us the 2014-2015 golf season is in full swing. Starting in October the EGF Order of Merit Season will kickoff. Support the Federation and the UAE Golf Clubs by taking part in this season long experience that provides amateur golfers a tour atmosphere in the UAE. With the continued support of the UAE Golf Clubs, the EGF golfing community, and the EGF Partners the 2014-2015 season will be a major success.
