The players were made of the Ladies and Junior National Teams as well as 10 players from the EGF Foundation Squad. The EGF Foundation Squad is apart of the National Junior Development Program and is made up of the best junior national golfers at the grass roots level. These players have been training at the UAE golf clubs for the past 2 years and are now ready to start competitive golf. The Foundation Squad players are from the ages of 8 to 13 years old.

“Taking these kids from the Foundation Squad on this summer camp is an important part of the junior development process for the EGF. These kids will benefit from these two weeks tremendously. Having the chance to really focus on the fundamentals and the basics of golf will push these kids to the next level,” said EGF Secretary General, Khalid Mubarak Al Shamsi.
Fleesensee Golf Resort was once a “European Tour Destination” with 5 courses varying in length and difficulty. The venue also has some of Europe’s best practice facilities where the teams will be able to work on all aspects of their game.
