Dear Members,
The end of summer is around the corner, the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Board of Directors hope that everyone had a fantastic holiday and safe travels if you were fortunate enough to do so.
September is a special month for UAE golf. The 2014-2015 season will start up across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the UAE National Teams will have a full month of training and competition in the world’s top Amateur Golf events.
The UAE National Team traveled to Perth, Australia for a two week Training Camp at The Vines Resort & Country Club. Following the Training Camping the UAE National Senior Team will compete in the World Amateur Team Championship – Eisenhower Trophy (WATC) in Karuizawa, Japan on September 3rd to 14th. On behalf of the EGF and the entire UAE, I would like to wish our teams the best of luck.
If not all, then most of the UAE Golf Clubs summer promotions are coming to an end. Be sure to take advantage of all offers and continue supporting the game of golf during the last weeks of summer. With the continued support of the UAE Golf Clubs, the EGF golfing community, and the EGF Partners - golf is growing stronger within the UAE.
