Al Hajeri Wins March National Monthly Medal;

A. Skaik Best Gross;

O. Al Heloo Wins Par 3 Event

(Al Ain, UAE) – On March 28, 2015, the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) hosted the March National Monthly Medal at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club. Along with the Monthly Medal the EGF paired the outing with its National Par 3 League and hosted a Par 3 Event on Al Ain’s Academy Course. Mohamed Al Hajeri won his first National Monthly Medal with a score of 41 Stableford Points.

Winning his first National Monthly Medal was Mohamed Al Hejeri. Mohamed is an up and raising junior under the Emirates Golf Federation. For playing the game of golf for only a year, Mohamed has a lot of raw athletic talent. Al Hejeri shot an impressive 41 Stableford Points to take home the top honor.

The Runner-Up for the event is another rising junior Khalil Kashwani. Kashwani had a total of 40 Stableford Points. Rounding out the top-three for the Stableford format was Mahmood Skaik with 39 points. Mahmood also won the Longest Drive award on Hole-10.

Shooting a solid 77, 6 over – par, was Ahmad Skaik. Ahmad won the Best Gross prize and the Longest Drive award on Hole-3. Ahmad will travel to Kuwait next month to represent the United Arab Emirates in the GCC Golf Championship – 18 & Under.

The Division B Winner was Ihaab Tarmoom with 37 Stableford Points.

Yaslam Al Ameri won the Nearest to the Pin award on Hole-7.

To put an end to the day the EGF hosted a National Par 3 League event on the Academy Course. Winning the National Par 3 League event was Obaid Al Heloo. Obaid shot a 4-over, 31 on the challenging Par 3 course.

Reema Al Heloo was the Runner-Up with a total of 33 shots. Coming in Third was Rashid Al Emadi with a total of 37 shots.

The unique Al Ain Golf Club offers a great challenge for golfers at any skill level. By having both a Championship, Par 71, Course and Academy Par 3 Course the EGF took the opportunity to host two events in one day.
