The UAE had one lady that was represented in the Ladies Individual Division. Dr. Rhabab Al Haj finished in 12th in the Individual Gross Category and 11th in the Individual Net Category. Dr. Rhabab had rounds of 101, 89, and 98. With golf growing within the UAE, having Dr. Rhabab at this event was a positive addition to the UAE National Golf Program. In the Team Gross Category Morocco finished in First, Tunisia finished in Second, and Egypt finished in Third.

Khalid Mubarak Al Shamsi (Emirates Golf Federation Secretary General and UAE National Team Official) had this to say after the event. “This was a valuable learning experience for all of the players that competed at this event. One of the goals at the EGF and in the National Junior Development Program (NJDP) is to provide good competition for our young players. We hope that competition like this will guide our players and the UAE teams to the top of the region in golf.”

The UAE Team was also accompanied by, Adel Zarouni (Emirates Golf Federation Vice Chairman and UAE National Team Official), and Greg Holmes (UAE National Team Coach and PGA Professional).

The EGF is also proud to announce that the 2015 Pan Arabs Junior and Ladies Golf Championship will be hosted by the EGF in the UAE. As the game of golf continues to grow in the UAE, expect to see additional Junior, Amateur, and Professional events within the UAE.
