“The UAE is thankful to have received an invite to participate in this championship. The APGC and the Hong Kong Golf Club hosted a world-class junior championship. We are happy to see improvement from our players this year and we met some of our goals. The more our young players play in championships like this, the more improvements we will see internationally and regionally,” said Khalid Mubarak Al Shamsi, EGF Secretary General & UAE National Team Captain.
The second UAE team made up of Tara Al Marzooqi and Rashid Al Emadi finished in 38th place.
Winning the event was Japan, followed by Australia in second place and Korea rounding out the top three.
