Chick-fil-A Moo Cow Bikers of
Conyers Donate to Rockdale
Emergency Relief
R
ockdale Emergency Relief was
pleased to receive a $400 dollar
donation from the Chick-fil-A Moo
Cow Bikers of Conyers. The local Moo
Cow Bikers chapter was formed in 2011,
and includes about 46 bike enthusiasts
whose purpose is not only to fellowship
and ride together, but to work and serve
the community. Their motto is, “Be a
blessing to someone today.” Pictured here,

City Announces Winner in Artist
Promotional Design Contest for the
Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival
T
he City of Conyers
is proud to announce
George Abello as
the winner of the Artist
Promotional Design Contest
for the 2018 Conyers Cherry
Blossom Festival. The
Artist Promotional Design
Contest was a first in the
Conyers Cherry Blossom
Festival’s history. The City
of Conyers held the contest
to select artwork for the
festival’s 2018 marketing
design. The winning design
will be featured in all
marketing campaigns for
the festival, and will include
merchandise, social media,
and print promotion.
The new design shows
a simple, single cherry
blossom tree in all its beauty.
The design was selected
based on originality, use of
color, and consideration of
the history, purpose, and
mission of the Conyers
Cherry Blossom Festival.
The 37th Annual Conyers
Cherry Blossom Festival
will be held on March 24
and 25, 2018 at the Georgia
International Horse Park. Be
on the lookout for the new
design of the cherry blossom
tree and make sure to save
the date for the festival!
