The Italian team group profile We are 10 girls who want to join this project, and this is our first article and we're a bit nervous. It's a new thing but it's great doing new experiences. Let's take a flashback! In the first class we were in the same class (not all of us because some girls came to our school later) and it was like staying in a room with a big crowd! We were almost 38 students, we're not kidding... The following year teachers, with the head teacher obviously, decided to split the class up into two classes. It was a hard choice to make because we were more or less friends , but we had to do it. We have to say that now we don't feel at all the pressure of this division because we have the same teachers, we do the same activities...like this mag! This thing of two different classes is amazing because sometimes we have the same class tests so we can exchange information, give advice or check if an answer is right or wrong (sorry prof, you shouldn't know it!). Our course in Tourism is not really popular among boys...in fact we can count them “on the fingers of a hand”, as we use to say in Italian. We don't know why they didn't want to join this project, but they don't know what they're missing! We joined this project because of credits, we need them for the final exam, they give us more points so we can have a better mark at the school-leaving exam. But this is not the main reason of our choice. We want to know new people, cultures, languages, so this can be incredible for us. Furthermore, we want to improve our skills in English. We are looking forward to reading your articles! This is us, Maria Grazia, Asia, Tracy, Sara, Ilenia, Giada, Silvia and Gresia (Photo by G.B.)
