Guilty Gear Xrd gets an expansion and re-release
with Rev 2, which adds new characters and an
extended story mode. Owners of Revelator can buy
a DLC update to the new version of the best-looking
fighting game around.

Prey (PC, PS4, XO, out 5 May)
Arkane Studios is rebooting 2006 shooter / puzzler
Prey, this time as a stylish, story-driven sci-fi
adventure. It looks hugely promising, and Arkane has
proven it’s up to the task with the Dishonored games. Nintendo’s fun punch-em-up finally arrives this
month, and will be hoping to win the hearts of
competitive gamers who love nothing more than
virtually punching people in the face with oversized
boxing gloves.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
(3DS, Out 19 May) Rime (PC, PS4, XO, Switch, Out 26 May)
Whilst we can’t help but wish this new Fire Emblem
was being released on the Switch instead of the 3DS,
there’s no doubt it’ll be another challenging strategy
affair from the fine folks at Intelligent Systems. This striking adventure / puzzler from Spanish
developer Tequila Works has changed dramatically
during its development, but the results look
staggeringly pretty.
