Diabolus - Feast Chugcore | Release Date : 19th December 2016
Time for something a bit heavy and evil . Diabolus ’ debut EP Feast boast wonderfully mature songwriting for a genre which can sometimes come across stale and oversaturated . Diabolus boast a pic and mix bag full of treats from nearly every sub genre of extreme metal . Dimmu Borgir vocals interlaced with horribly brutal slams and a ton of shredding guitars . Feast is an elegant balance of hectic death metal with symphonic undertones and melodic string synths . There are even some elements of hardcore that will hopefully translate to an energetic live show .
A hugely promising debut EP from a band who have only recently solidified their lineup . We urge you to check out Chapter II - Servant of the Devil as the band has recently released a cracking video for it , really pushing across their personality . This is one for fans of death metal , black metal , beatdown , slam , hardcore and a whole lot more . Clocking in at less than 18 minutes , Feast is swift , powerful and evil .

Babymetal - Live At Wembley earMUSIC | Release Date : 9th December 2016
Japanese metal dance trio Babymetal are a force to be reckoned with . They have shot to fame in the last 12 months with their unique blend of ribcage rattling metal riffs and sweeter than sugar tutu-clad dance routines . But how do Japan ’ s most famous teenage trio fair at a one off , sold out , UK show ?
The girls open with a power trio of BABYMETAL DEATH , Awadama Fever and YAYA ! which immediately fill you with energy . You can imagine the dancing and the pyro that would have accompanied such numbers making it a fun and exciting listen . However , as a band which rely so heavily on the visual element of their performance , Live At Wembley in audio falls flat at times . It ’ s hard to enjoy Amore and THE ONE , and even Road Of Resistance is one to skip . What saves the album though is fan favourites Doki Doki Morning , Megitsune and Gimme Chocolate !! You can hear the screams and chants of a crowd completely enthused by Babymetal and that is what makes Live At Wembley worth a listen .
Babymetal will continue to be a spectacle ; seeing them perform is much more rewarding than listening to them perform . So next time they ’ re in the UK , grab a ticket and see what the Live At Wembley crowd are making such a fuss over .
