How did this experience change things for you?

The journey changed things for me in several ways, but I think the most important was opening my eyes to new forms of art which I will definitely be incorporating into my own act.

Any insight into your 5-year plan?

My five year plan is releasing two more one man shows Live from the Matrix April 16, 2016, and another about being Mexican-American in 2017 and become a touring act. My big goal is to sell out Carnegie Hall in 5 years. I’m going to be diving deeper into experimental theatre and film, as well as publishing a couple books of spoken word. I’m going to compete in the Indi Worlds in D.C. this October, and after that I’m probably going to fall back from the spoken word scene and venture more into writing and performing characters and tragicomedies.
