with Ms. Guzman

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."

—Ralph Waldo Emerson

Glass Slipper offers.

While the demand is high, the Glass Slipper is working deliberately to address its needs and capacity. In addition to the established programs, this summer, the Glass Slipper plans to launch the Glass Slipper Express, a mobile version of the Mariposa House. It is a 40-foot trailer that will be parked in the vicinity of locations with the most need, such as juvenile halls. Guzman and her organization will strive to continue to offer these programs and many more because she feels there is a need and this is her passion.

“I love these girls,” she said. “I’ve been face to face with those with addiction and I believe it’s never too late to turn your life around. Someone needs to take a stand to help them and that’s what we’re trying to tell these girls.”

There are countless opportunities for you to help support this endeavor. Mentors, donors, and women with success stories are just a few examples of contributions that can help. For more information, please visit their website at www.theglassslipper.org.
