Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine Issue 05 | September 2016 | Page 7

The Fall Harvest full moon in September was a grand reminder that the seasons of our lives are forever evolving and personal growth is of great value. I was reminded that even when I believe I have a plan, that if it's not in my highest good, my heart and intuition will let me know. How? In my experience, life is uncomfortable for a bit until I understand that change MUST happen; and I fully open up to what my heart is showing me.

I originally thought this issue would focus on Self-Love. It does, yet it goes much deeper - to listening to our intuition, our inner knowing, our inner voice. For example, Reba Linker poses a question about asking ourselves what size fits our personal needs. Rachel Kieffer shares a story about one woman’s career choice as she faces pressure from outside to lose weight in order to fit into a stereotypical body type for professionals in her line of work. I share a conversation I had with Eddie Mullins about finding our loving voice. Natasha Botkin sheds light on how it feels to let love in, and Donna Genovese tells how she is healing from migraines. Jenn Ryan’s personal story on page __ was originally titled, “Art as Therapy”, however after reading it, it became the cover article. Kat Tozier wrote another powerful article about yoga and the zen of canning. Jenn Ryan’s second article, “Ode to Isabel” is a reflection of a role-model from her childhood. As always there are many delicious recipes, including Tae Lynne’s Pumpkin Tea Bread.

I need your help. As you flip through the pages and you are intrigued by an advertisement, click on it to see where it takes you. If you enjoyed an article and feel it’ll help someone, share it with the Facebook share button near the title. The joys of a digital magazine is that it is interactive. One of the lessons I have learned as a publisher is that I cannot do this alone.

Many blessings...
