Pay kindness forward.

Speak softly to yourself.

Appreciate the things you have.

Take yourself on a date.

Volunteer your time.

Get a massage.

Take a bubble bath.

Read a good book.

Eat healthy, non-manufactured foods.

Being aware and honoring ourselves in the moment means holding space, perhaps taking deep breaths, and acknowledging that the feeling(s) that we’re experiencing, whatever they may be, will not last forever, and on top of that, that very often, that everything works in cycles. These dark nights of the soul are just a cycle. As Eddie suggests, “Stick your feet in the soil, the sand, the water, whatever is there. It may seem the most stupid, ridiculous thing to do, but if you're tuned in, and you will be with that connection to nature, it will help you shift the toxic emotions. That's why the beaches here in California are full of people journaling all the time. They know that there's something magical about that ocean and beach.”
