Forgiving is an important part of healing all relationships. Remember we are all learning, growing and evolving. Be patient with yourself and with others. Forgiveness means you forgive yourself first and then the others involved. When you do this, healing takes place. Seek a deeper understanding by going inward, and asking, “What am I learning here, or what do I need to understand?” This is a good question to ask yourself when you want to take positive action in your relationships as well.

It’s important to embrace the mundane life and find balance. Sometimes life can get very busy. It is important to take time weekly for yourself (whether it is an activity, such as spending a few hours reading a favorite book, or spending an hour at the water’s edge). When was the last time you took time for yourself, or together as a partnership? It is very common to wait until exhaustion sets in before seeking balance. Spending an hour each day focusing on the Self will help you feel renewed, have more energy, and to feel better.

Enjoy life as it unfolds. Change is constant. We have choices in every moment.
