garden. With each weed that I pulled, I could feel a deep, inner peace. A mega moment of reclamation of peace was found as I trimmed a rosebush that looked more like a thicket. After the major weeding of my old rose bed, I found three beautiful roses hiding under some overgrown mint. As I reclaimed my existing garden, I also planted several container gardens with flowers, herbs and vegetables. My heart and soul sang happily throughout the entire process of planting, watering, weeding and growing.

One day, quite by surprise I found myself laughing out loud, in a peaceful joy-filled mood. I was humming; sacred sounds arising from me (instead of the symphonic birds!) I was not even aware; but all of a sudden noticed that people were smiling at me. I leaned over and asked a dear lady, “Why are you smiling at me?” and her response was, “My dear, have you seen yourself? You are beaming like a golden ray.” I smiled, knowing that I am one with nature; that nature nourishes my soul; and that nature fills me with divine joy.
