Using the same soft blue and dusty
rose palette as the florals, cakes
featured an array of oceanic cues such
as sea shells, starfish and oysters for
decoration. On the mini cakes, paper
crepe technique was added to each tier
to imitate waves.
Visions of a mermaid
floating on the seascape
led Valencienne Bridal to
incorporate hand-painted
watercolours and a deli-
cate blue underlay on the
custom designed gown for
the ceremony.
