How They Met | Candice and Frederick first crossed paths on a plane going to Las Vegas. Suffice it to say, they both won the jackpot that trip. Since the
connection between them was instantaneous, the thought of bringing a relationship home was a given. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
The Ceremony | To honour the groom’s background, Candice and Frederick held their traditional Catholic ceremony at a Lebanese church. Unique
components included the exchanging of crowns—a Middle Eastern ritual that symbolizes being crowned as husband and wife in the Kingdom of God—the reciting of vows
and live music covering popular artists Coldplay and Elvis Presley. In traditional fashion, Candice and Frederick saw each other for the first time at the altar framed by two
large cherry blossom arrangements. It was an emotional but unbelievably special moment captured by Luminous Weddings.
The Reception | Despite the large number of guests, Candice and Frederick wanted their magical reception to have an intimate feel. Scrumptious food was served, guests
mingled throughout the evening and fantastic entertainment was provided thanks to a phenomenal live Lebanese band. Everyone ate, drank and danced the night away.
