How They Met | In 2008, a childhood friend of his—who also happened to be a co-worker of hers—set up Ana and Denny. Since both
were incredibly shy at the start, it took a full month of talking over the phone until either mustered up the courage to meet in person for
a first date. The moment they sat down, sparks flew…and so did Denny’s steak knife. It was the perfect icebreaker. That night, when
Ana got home and checked her Facebook feed, Denny had already changed his status to “In a relationship.” Six years later on a trip to
Banff, Alberta, Denny proposed to Ana on the terrace of the Banff Springs Hotel surrounded by picturesque mountains.
The Ceremony | After making her way down the aisle in a breathtaking Sottero and Midgley gown, Ana was given away by both
her mother and father. Two stone garden vases filled with hydrangeas and roses adorned the altar to depict the
relaxed elegance of a romantic garden. Family members read the Corinthians 13 passage in English and Portuguese; guests were given
personalized bottles of wine; and in lieu of a guest book, everyone signed corks. Little Blue Lemon captured the entire day beautifully.
