The Ceremony | Having a meaningful ceremony was important to Brett
and Kristin. Together they decided to write their own vows and incorporate
what is considered a ring-warming ceremony whereby the wedding bands
are passed from guest to guest as a way of sending wishes to the couple.
The service took place outdoors under a beautiful draped arbour framed
with white roses and greenery.
The Reception & Decor | Once the ceremony was completed,
guests were treated inside the reception (held at the same venue) to an
antipasto plate followed by pasta and an entrée selected the day of the
wedding. Brett and Kristin wanted their theme to reflect classic, whimsical,
romance so family-style tables were fixed with white linens, crawling vines
and simplistic jar centrepieces filled with white blooms. The result was
a refreshing indoor/outdoor scene that perfectly complemented the space.
