The Reception | Sheena and Alex wanted their recep-
tion to be a party for everyone and that’s exactly what
it was. From the moment guests were seated at the
ceremony to the first bites of hors d’oeuvres at cocktail
hour, everyone had a drink in their hand and a smile on
their face. Essentially, it was a dance party from start to
finish.
The Decor | The desired theme for Sheena and
Alex’s wedding planned by Grace Barbosa-Chin of
Express Yourself Weddings & Events was black, white
and gold. To add a modern twist to traditional floral and
candle centrepieces, arrangements along harvest tables
were raised to appear like clouds leaving the view of the
guest unobstructed. At each place setting, favours were
presented in a black box tied with gold ribbon, and at the
centre of the room, a custom dance floor was created with
a gold monogram. The result was a beautiful and magical
setting that brought the couple’s dream vision to life.
