How They Met |On a sunny Fourth of July back in 2015, Diane and Nicholas met at Toronto DJ Skratch Bastid’s
annual BBQ bash. Somehow through the crowd, the two gravitated towards one another and started talking,
dancing and joking around. The following week, they went to the Harbourfront Centre for their first date. Over the
next month and a half while Diane travelled to Costa Rica to teach yoga, she and Nicholas kept in touch via Skype.
To Diane’s surprise, one day Nick sent her a picture of a flight itinerary in dicating he was going to visit her in Costa
Rica. Needless to say, their relationship took flight as they explored the country together.
