As soon as Rute Fernandes of Rute Fernandes Events started planning this Greek style shoot , the goal was to marry tradition with elegance . Using mostly neutral colours , the theme highlights romance with white decor , green florals and opulent gold accents . To encapsulate Greek culture , Rute anchored the ceremony with faux stone columns ; incorporated olive leaf symbols on the stationery ; and ensured the sweet table was filled with gold gilded cakes and confections . At the reception setup , decor was kept modern with the use of tall gold centrepiece vases and gold rimmed tableware , meanwhile bridal attire included a gorgeous cathedral veil as a nod to tradition . The sculptural outdoor gardens at the venue completed the look .
