The Ceremony | Beautiful music from a violinist and cellist played as guests
made their way into the church for the ceremony. To modernize the atmosphere,
Alessandra walked down the aisle with her mother and father to “Tenerife Sea”
by Ed Sheeran. MPSG Weddings captured the entire day without a hitch.
The Reception | To create a stimulating ambience at the reception, a
harpist greeted guests as they took part in the receiving line. In the middle of the
dance floor, a large selection of Italian delicacies, such as homemade focaccia,
polenta and seafood salad, were served at an antipasto bar. After Alessandra
and Michael’s bridal party entered the room, they shared their first dance to
another Ed Sheeran favourite, “Perfect.” The night continued with excellent food,
entertainment and a short clip captured by MPSG Weddings for everyone to see.
The Decor | The theme for Alessandra and Michael’s wedding was
whimsical with a dash of elegance. Using mainly ivory, gold and silver decor, the
reception opened with two large frames in the lobby directing everyone to their
seats. Upon walking into the hall, guests were taken aback by the abundance of
candles lit and florals provided by Petals by Imperial. Tables featured either a
crystal candelabra centrepiece or lush greenery and white wisteria arrangement.
Inspired by the work of California florist Jeff Leatham, the couple’s head table
included glass furniture—provided by Detailz Couture Event Rentals—and a
draped backdrop highlighted by five chandeliers.
