The Reception | When the ceremony came to an end, guests enjoyed cocktail
hour on the terrace overlooking the water. As everyone entered the reception and
took their seats, each was greeted by a hand-painted macaron calligraphed with
their name. While dinner was served and speeches were made, Jordan and Lindsay
selected two of their favourite wines—McManis and Masi—to go around. Just
as the sun was setting, they shared their first dance together. The rest of the
evening was spent dancing and feasting on the McDonald’s food station that
opened at midnight.
The Decor | RL Designs Inc. transformed the reception space into an extra-
ordinary garden with al fresco-inspired flowers, rentals and decor. Elegant draping
covered the room from top to bottom and twinkling chandeliers intertwined with
greenery provided lighting. To keep the theme looking natural and rustic, vineyard
chairs were selected for seating. Half of the tables featured tall crystal candelabra
centrepieces while the other half had pillar candles and low floral arrangements
consisting of earl grey roses, greenery and anemones. The star decor element was
the floral chandelier suspended above the head table.
