How They Met | Lindsay and Jordan met 10 years ago through
mutual friends at a high school party. Jordan, who had already graduated
and playing his first year in the Ontario Hockey League, happened to
have a night off and joined. His best friend (who would later be his best
man), made a move on Lindsay first hoping she would reciprocate, but she
quickly gravitated towards Jordan to “save” her. They hit it off that night
and have been together ever since.
The Ceremony | A private marina that Jordan visited frequently through-
out his childhood was the perfect spot to host the ceremony decorated by
RL Designs Inc.. Guests were seated overlooking Lake Huron, white rose
petals covered the aisle and two large white floral arrangements flanked the al-
tar. Keeping the guests and weather—22 degrees and sunny—in mind, Lind-
say and Jordan made their ceremony short and sweet, ending with a kiss and
recessional to one of their favourite songs, “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor.
