ELEGANT WEDDING MONTREAL 2016/17 AUGUST 2016 | Page 133
venue:
The Ceremony | Before Val and Wayne said,
“I do,” they had to make it through a significant
amount of traffic. Making the ceremony by a hair,
the couple celebrated their nuptials by having guests
throw paper airplanes in the air. Not only was it
eco-friendly, it was a clever tribute to everyone who
joined from out of town.
The Reception | The Passerelle space at the
Montreal Science Centre provided guests an unforgettable experience for the sunflower reception that took
place. With cocktail hour spent overlooking the city
and the St. Lawrence River, guests had more than just
delicious drinks and appetizers to feast their eyes on.
La V Image was there to capture it all.
The Decor | Val and Wayne’s theme of rustic-chic
was brought to life exactly how they envisioned:
charismatically. From the wooden flower boxes to the
Mason jar candles, tall branch centrepieces and mossfilled jars in honour of their last name (Moss), the
entire setting was just mesmerizing.
La V image | We love capturing beautiful images on a wedding day. We believe that a great
wedding photographer has to have many qualities. Firstly, they have to be a good photojournalist to
capture real action and emotions on people’s faces. Secondly, they have to be a fashion photographer able to get stunning magazine-like images of the bride who makes such an effort to look her
best that day.

How They Met | Val and Wayne met through a
group of mutual friends while attending the University
of Florida. Ironically enough, the two shared the same
Chemistry Lab together. Little did they know serious
“chemistry” was brewing between them.
