TEST & MEASUREMENT now, there has been no universal solution for storing and transporting both test meters and tools, nor one that included all the essential tools required for diagnostic testing and fi nal certifi cation. Made-to-measure storage Consulting directly with end users, CK Magma researched how electricians store and transport test equipment and noticed this gap in the market. With this insight in mind, the new product development team set about designing convenient solutions to these everyday problems and developed the CK Magma test equipment case and the CK Magma test equipment case toolkit. The test equipment case allows electricians to carry diagnostic testing equipment and a selection of essential tools in one handy case. It is thought to be the fi rst of its kind to feature made- to-measure storage for both a test meter and toolkit, removing the inconvenience of having to transport them separately. Working closely with a dedicated group of professional tradesmen, CK Magma was able to create products that meet their current working needs. Feedback revealed an acute need for a single solution that would allow electricians to transport a diagnostic testing kit and a selection of essential tools without having to carry their full toolkit. Both the CK Magma test equipment case and toolkit are a direct result of this process and have been well received by electricians. Convenient solutions Featuring rubber feet and adjustable padded compartments, the case provides durable, safe storage for testing equipment, plus a separate top compartment for storing necessary tools and accessories. With 27 accessible pockets, including a documentation holder, technicians can carry all the fundamental tools and documents for diagnostic testing, without the need for any separate boxes, cases or bags. The padded shoulder strap makes it convenient to hold while carrying out equipment testing, while a lockable zip system helps protect expensive tools. Alternatively, the CK Magma test equipment case toolkit combines the test equipment case with a selection of essential tools, including CK dextroVDE screwdrivers with all the most popular tip sizes. The kit also includes side cutters and snipe nose pliers from the CK Redline VDE range, a CK non-contact voltage detector and CK LED 100 lumens hand torch. Create competitive standout With en d-users at the heart of this new development, electricians are welcoming the improvements offered by both products. Utilising them can save time on tools, leaving more time for excellent customer service, which is just as important as the job in hand.
