NEWEY & EYRE KICKS
OFF CHARITY FOOTBALL
TOURNAMENT
Newey & Eyre has kick-started football fever having
recently hosted its very own 2016 football tournament
in a bid to raise donations for a Hull-based brain
recovery centre.
Taking place at Soccer Sensation in June, Newey &
Eyre’s Hull branch brought together both employees and
customers from across the region who took to the pitch
to raise money for local charity, PAUL for brain recovery.
And with over £750 donated during this year’s inaugural
event, the much needed funds will be used to support the
expansion of the charity’s brain recovery centre in Hull.
A charity close to the branches’ heart, PAUL for
brain recovery was founded by Paul Spence, who was
previously an electrician for many years before suffering
a life threatening brain haemorrhage. Following his
recovery, Paul set the charity to help others affected by
brain injury. The mission is to help guide and support on
