SALUS has expanded its Smart Home range of connected products with the addition of the iT600 Smart Radiator Control . This latest device enables users to precisely control their radiator room heating to an exact temperature and from wherever they may be .
Suitable for both retrofits as well as new installs , the battery-operated Smart Radiator Control features an electrical device that works to open and close the radiator valve to produce more accurate room heating . The extensive Meridian LED range includes a selection of Dedicated Emergency fittings – from twin spots , to exit boxes , bulkheads and exit panels .
Twin spots are available with white polycarbonate or metal bodies , offering three hours of non-maintained support . The IP65 PC version has a 6V / 7Ah lead acid battery , auto test indicators and 4.7W LED spots . The IP20 metal option has a 12V / 4.5Ah battery and 60 spot LEDs delivering 240 lumens .

Thakeham mushroom farm needed a lighting solution that could withstand varying temperature conditions whilst providing excellent energy efficiency . CASAMBI LAUNCHES EASY-TO-INSTALL WIRELESS DIMMER
Casambi , leading provider of smart wireless lighting control technologies , has launched its easy-to-install and simple-to-use , four-channel pulse width modulation ( PWM ) wireless dimmer for LED strips and constant-voltage LED modules .
The CBU-PWM4 is easy to add to existing lighting system designs and is simpler , cheaper and faster to install than conventional wired dimmers , because it eliminates the need to run physical wires to switches .
Once installed , it enables users to control their LED lights directly , using a smartphone , tablet or computer . Importantly , because the CBU- PWM4 uses Bluetooth Low Energy ( BLE ), a technology built into virtually every modern portable device , it doesn ’ t require a dedicated gateway .

CP ELECTRONICS ’ NEW CONTROLLER IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
CP Electronics has launched a new PIR – a surface mounted controller that provides auto on / auto off switching of infrared controlled air conditioning ( AC ) units .
Battery powered , easy to install and adjustable via a simple push button operation , the intelligent PIR learns the infrared code of an AC unit , overrides the on / off commands and regulates the use based on room occupancy . As a result , significant energy savings can be achieved .
The GESM-AC is compatible with the majority of infrared controlled air conditioning units . It is also capable of going into sleep mode and waking up on detection , to save battery life . The timeout period can be set , making installation and set-up simple . Suitable for any room that has an AC unit in place , the AC controller is ideal for healthcare applications , classrooms and small meeting rooms ; where air conditioning is not always turned off when occupants leave a room . It is also well suited to countries with hot climates where air conditioning is commonly used within buildings .
