The inaugural ED & I Expo took place on 6-7 September 2017 . ECN rounds-up a selection of the new products , innovations and services on display over the course of the two day show .
The 2017 Electrical Design & Install Expo kicked off at 9.30am on Wednesday 6 September – the new national trade show for the electrical industry . The floor was packed with exhibitors , showcasing the latest products , innovations and services that they had to offer , demonstrating the diversity and versatility being offered within the industry today . Scolmore Group utilised its presence at the expo to showcase the raft of new product innovations that has helped make 2017 the company ’ s most prolific year for product launches .
Two new wiring accessories collections – Deco Plus and GridPro – took centre stage . Deco Plus is a comprehensive range of high-end decorative wiring accessories , while GridPro is an extensive range of interchangeable mounting plates and modules .
Also on show was the latest addition to the Inceptor integrated downlight range . Inceptor Omni was designed with flexibility and ease of installation in mind .
Scolmore is also continuing to develop its Click Smart range , which is designed to strip home automation right back to basics to offer a simple system that has accessibility and simplicity at its core .
The company was keen to highlight some of the unique benefits these new products will bring to a range of installations from small domestic schemes , to large , complex commercial projects .
