PRIME LED WALL PACKS FROM NET LED
The PRIME LED Wall Pack from NET LED is an energy saving wall light designed for use in commercial,
industrial, amenity and other outdoor applications.
The lamp delivers 3,000 lumens at a warm 3,000K colour temperature. Its IP65, dust and weatherproof, aluminium and polycarbonate housing makes it suitable for use in car parks and loading
bays, outside warehouses and factories, along walkways and stairwells, and in general amenity and

An integral dusk-‘til-dawn photocell sensor automatically activates the unit when ambient light drops

LAUNCHES SAMOS
New from National Lighting is
the Samos, a suspended fitting
with a 29W LED module, which
provides 2,375 lumens of 4,000K
cool white light. It is supplied
with adjustable suspension
cables, which offer a drop
of 250 to 1,500mm to suit
different requirements.
The fitting is constructed
from aluminium alloy and frosted polycarbonate and is available in a choice of two
finishes: silver anodised and matt white. The Samos is an LED replacement for the
T5 35W Reed range of suspended fittings and is an ideal pendant for commercial

year warranty.

NEW 18V BRUSHLESS MOTOR LXT DRILLS FROM MAKITA
Makita has launched two new 18V
brushless motor LXT drills: the
DDF483 13mm drill driver and
the DHP483 combi drill. Both new
products are notable for their
very compact size: the drill driver
has an overall body length of just
162mm, while the combi drill has
an overall length of 176mm. Both
are ideally suited for tight space
installation work, such as kitchen
and bathroom installations.
The new Makita DDF483 drill
driver will run up to 1,700rpm in High
mode and 500rpm in Low mode and
with 20 torque settings and drill mode, this tool generates 40Nm of tightening torque
in High mode and 23Nm in Low mode. It is capable of drilling 13mm in steel and
36mm in wood. The new Makita DHP483 combi drill will generate up to 25,500ipm
(impacts per minute) in High mode and 7,500ipm in low mode and is capable of
punching a 13mm hole in masonry and steel, and 36mm in wood.
