LEDVANCE is presenting its exciting
new lighting portfolio at LuxLive 2016.

T

he new retail luminaire
portfolio within the
Osram brand offers
customers reliable
quality with excellent
price-performance
ratios. LEDVANCE
is also continuing to
expand its professional trade offering
with an attractive range of LEDVANCE
LED luminaires. These combine style with
performance and all feature a universal,
timeless design and premium materials.
Over 60 professional products, across eight
product ranges from the Osram brand,
are now available on the market. including
luminaire, spot and downlight categories.
The eight professional installation-ready
luminaire product ranges from LEDVANCE
offer installers suitable LED luminaires,
with the familiar high quality expected of
Osram products; marrying control and
efficiency with design. They feature up to
120 lumens/watt, and a rated service life
of up to 50,000 hours. From a style point
of view they also offer a crisp and clean
design and simple mounting that can be
fitted in any indoor environment. Maximum
installation flexibility is ensured thanks
to an external control unit with the spot,
downlight and panel product ranges. The
high bay and floodlight ranges have also
been optimised in terms of size and weight
with an integrated control unit, making
them easily adaptable.

The iconic new Edition 1906 portfolio
references the language of design from
the early 20th century, with the name
harking back to the founding year of the
Osram brand. Various vintage-look lamps
are combined with the purist, high quality
‘PenduLum’ luminaire – in gold or black. The
functional pull cord principle with various
anchor points allows light to be accurately
positioned. The lamps are available with LED
filament or halogen technology and come
in four traditional shapes, to bring optimum
efficiency, whilst adding that in-demand
stylised feel to lighting installations; a look
that is popular today with restaurant and
high street retail chains.
The successful Glow Dim technology
is bringing the flexibility of dimming
technology and the possibility of changing
the colour temperature to the consumer
and commercial markets. Utilising this
technology, LEDVANCE offers a range of
dimmable solutions including LED-lamps,
LED-lamps with GlowDim technology,
dimmable LED-filament-lamps and LEDfilament-lamps with GlowDim technology.
The ‘Duo Click Dim’ and ‘Relax and
Active’ product ranges demonstrate the
possibilities offered by lamps with LED
technology. Duo Click Dim is dimmed to 40
per cent by ‘clicking’ the light switch twice,
whilst Relax and Active features two light
colours in one lamp. This product’s cool
white light helps users to feel active and
energised, and its relaxation setting provides
a warm white; giving users the ability to
completely change the look and feel of a
room by simply clicking once or twice.
The LEDVANCE lamp and tube
products don’t just look great, they also
offer tangible business benefits to users.
For professional applications, the new
Substitube T8 tubes empower customers
with real energy saving potential, whilst
still providing a high quality light output
of 3,600 lumens at 150 lumens/watt.
When customers use these to replace
their traditional T8 lamps, they can save
up to 67 per cent of their electricity. The
flagship model of the range, the Substitube
Connected, can even achieve savings of up
to 90 per cent. Up to 50 of these LED tubes
can be wirelessly connected to a sensor
that detects daylight and movement, so
that the lights can be dimmed or switched
off automatically when they are not needed.
Whilst LEDVANCE is developing lighting
applications with both functionality and
design in mind, the extensive smart home
portfolio of Lightify Home is also bringing
innovations to the smart home sector.
LEDVANCE is demonstrating two additional
products at LuxLive
2016 – Lightify Plug, a socket that can
be switched on and off via an App, and
Lightify Switch, an individually configurable
mobile switch for Lightify products.
