What does the future hold ?
The future of building controls is looking great . We may just have to spend a few years wading through the challenges regarding Internet of Things , Big Data , security and client expectation . At our AGM this year we had a number of guest speakers discussing these topics so it is great to see that the KNX community is already tackling these issues .
One day building controls will be everywhere , in both residential and commercial buildings , whether it be in schools , offices , hospitality or healthcare . The challenge now is to make users and operators aware of the benefits of truly scalable and non-proprietary systems .
