ADVERTISEMENT FEATURE IMPROVE SECURITY AND EFFICIENCY WITH THE NEW LED FLOODLIGHT RANGE FROM CHALLENGER The new slimline LED security floodlight range from Challenger utilises the latest Philips Lumiled chip technology, offering higher lumens per watt and 25 per cent efficiency gains over standard LED. New lens technology means that reflectors are no longer required and this has resulted in a slimmer, more attractive design. With 100 lumen per watt performance, the new range is also more efficient than equivalent ageing chip on board (COB) technology, offering energy savings with a comparable or improved light output. Movement sensor versions further reduce energy consumption as fittings only operate when movement is detected, which also acts as a deterrent to would-be intruders. The sensors have an override facility, ideal for scenarios where a constant light source is required, such as when entertaining. ‘NEW LENS TECHNOLOGY HAS RESULTED IN A SLIMMER, MORE ATTRACTIVE DESIGN.’ MODELS LISTED IN THE NEW RANGE ARE: • SLFLF15 • SLFLF15P • SLFLF30 • SLFLF30P • SLFLF50 • SLFLF50P • SLFLF80 • SLFLF100 • SLFLF150 Challenger page.indd 1 When installing large security floodlights difficulties can occur due to the heavy weights involved. The new style fittings are extremely lightweight, with the 80w 100w and 150w only 5.4kg in weight – something that is sure to be welcomed by the contractor. The input voltage range from 100 to 265VAC means that the floodlights can be used in numerous applications and a five years warranty offers peace of mind for the installer and end user, demonstrating a high level of confidence in the range.
