and Ireland. Currently

Swansea based RDM Electrical & Mechanical Services has been awarded the JTL National Award
2016 in recognition of the company’s commitment to training in Wales.
The announcement was made at the JTL National Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 1st March at
Drapers’ Hall, London.
Dave Kieft, director and co-owner of RDM Electrical & Mechanical Services and president-elect of
the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), was in attendance to receive the award.
Dave Kieft is a champion for training and believes wholeheartedly in the benefits it provides.
Dave said, ‘I’m delighted and extremely proud of the company being awarded the JTL National
Award 2016. This accolade is a result of the hard work of those at the company and I would like to
thank everyone for their individual efforts, however great or small, in helping the company to achieve
such prestigious recognition from such a well known, industry accredited organisation as JTL.
This latest award adds to RDM’s previous achievements with JTL. RDM was named winner of the
JTL Excellence in Training and Development Award 2015 and was also named JTL’s Best Employer
of the Year in Wales for 2014.

The CPDs are presented by Draka’s technical experts who have an
extensive knowledge of the subject area and the capability to field technical
questions and offer practical advice at the question and answer session that
concludes each presentation.
The ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions have been so successful that this
year Draka has committed to developing a further 12 presentations to
keep consultants informed of the latest technical developments in the
communications cabling sector.
