As the old saying goes, you need to spend time not just in your business, but on your business and this has perhaps never been more true as we move into 2017 and beyond with new legislation and building regs looming large and the political situation in the UK making business quite unpredictable. Making sure you are fully up to speed with everything your key suppliers are up to as well as learning about new technologies and Daniel J Sait, editor in chief, ECN legislation issues, will be time well spent. How can you do all of that and have some fun networking with colleagues too? well attend ED&I of course! In every sector I have ever worked in, companies that take time to attend industry events are the ones that tend to be the more successful. Yes it’s not easy getting away from your normal duties, but learning about new products and services, as well as rules and regulations that will affect your business, consistently adds to a company’s profitability. Trade shows survive and take place and have done for decades, because they work, but you have to be there to benefit. ED&I will deliver a wide-ranging show floor packed with innovation from some of the biggest names in the business, as well as a seminar programme designed to put your business on the front foot, led by the ECA. There is also a networking dinner in the evening of the first day to help you unwind and make new industry contacts, tickets can be purchased by emailing Claire Davison at Claire.Davison@ allthingsmedialtd.com.
